Kuala Lumpur Tower, The Tallest in Malaysia.
Kuala Lumpur is known for the skyscrapers that tower over the busy city streets in the downtown area. Most people know about the Petronas Twin Towers because it was, once upon a time, the tallest building in the world.
There is another world-renowned structure in KL which beats the Petronas Towers in height. It is called the Menara Kuala Lumpur Tower which stands at 421 meters and functions as a communication tower for media communications and broadcasting.
Although the tower was intended as a communications tower, today it is more know for its attractions. The tower now offers in-house attractions, shopping stores, and places for dining on top of the always popular tower experience.
Tourist started to flock to the KL tower because it provides a unique view of the city from the observation deck and sky deck. The observation deck gives a 360o view of Kuala Lumpur from a room around. Those who want to get to see the full view from 421 meters can go to the sky deck which is located at the topmost part of the tower.
At night, the tower lights up to give on-lookers a full view of the tower with a scheduled lighting show at certain hours. Cultural shows inside the tower also attract tourists. There are traditional dances and Islamic exhibits that visitors can enjoy.
Visitors can go to the different attractions found inside the tower. The mini-zoo, Blue Coral Aquarium, and KL Forest Eco Park are the natural attractions in and around the structure for those that want to relax.
For full-blown entertainment, visitors can go to the XD Theater and F1 Simulator for some modern entertainment. There is also the Upside-Down House which has become a popular attraction because of its peculiar design.
Those who want to shop for things from the KL Tower can go to the KL Tower gift and souvenir shop. They offer traditional clothing made in Malaysia and stuff from all the attractions as a token of their KL Tower experience.
Some of the best restaurants in Kuala Lumpur are also found in the KL Tower. Local and international cuisine are served in restaurants like the Atmosphere 360, Flavours of Malaysia, and Moghul Mahal Restaurant. Aside from the fine dining experience, the view while dining would be provided by the fantastic Kuala Lumpur skyline.
Interested clients should try their online ticketing option to book a visit in advance. Those who want to spend their events in the tower can do so through their function rooms such as the mini-theatre, banquet hall, and amphitheater.
