Visiting Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

One of the most amazing structures in Malaysia, the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park gets thousands of visits from tourists each year. The unique experience with birds it provides makes it a popular attraction away from the busy city.

Dubbed as the “World’s Largest Free Flight Walk-in Aviary”, the 21-acre property is open to all visitors looking to spend their day with birds in their natural habitat. There are various activities with birds that everyone can enjoy as well. Here are some guide from our team.

Over 3,000 species of birds can be seen in this amazing aviary located inside the eco-tourism park, Lake Gardens. Different species of birds fly in and out through the valley to spend their time in a mini-rainforest setting.
You can even see beautiful ostriches, peacocks, and other grounded birds walking around the aviary where visitors can have a close encounter with. It is an enjoyable experience for anyone who loves birds and nature.

Activities

The park has many activities that visitors can share. The feeding time for various species of flying birds is at 10:30 am. There are also scheduled times for ostrich, lory, hornbill, eagle, and milky stork feeding between 10 am to 4 pm.

Photographs with birds can also be taken throughout the day but tourists are reminded of the Do’s and Don’t when taking pictures. Avoid touching and disturbing them when you want to take a picture especially without the presence of a KL Bird Park staff.

An aviary is not complete without a daily bird show which is a crowd favorite especially with groups and families visiting the park. The KL Bird Park bird show takes almost an hour long and happens at 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm at the Amphitheatre in Zone 4 of the park.Bird Park
